One of my favorite works of art that
I’ve seen in my grade is of a good friend of mine’s, Chloe Baur. This piece is
just so well drawn and the detail put into it is phenomenal. The way the piece
is put together, from the well collaged mountain’s backdrop to the flowers and
the sewing, I also think it’s one of the most creative! The composition of the
piece is downright beautiful and every aspect of the multimedia is interesting,
obviously someone who’s practiced a lot in this, and making it all the better!
Because I know Chloe,
the piece’s meaning is a little more obvious to me, she threw in bits and
pieces of personal things that are harder to find if you aren’t close with her
personally, and the things she did put in, that only good friends or family
would know, are very touching. Another aspect of this piece is that I love, is,
how much thought and feeling she put into the art! She really just spilled out
her thoughts on a paper and I couldn’t have done any better for what she was
going through at the time. For the meaning of it, specifically, you’d have to
ask Chloe! She would do much better explaining her art to you than I would.
