This piece is about how hands and feet can be drawn to symbolize something important.The piece has a lot of layering in it and many water colors portrayed throughout the paper to show a sign of happiness to sadness.The paper has pen ink ebony pencil and graphite in it that is another way to show the layering effect in the piece.
The purpose of this piece is very meaningful in many ways.The hand in the middle is the one not focusing on what it needs to do because all the hands and feet around it are distracting him from what he needs to do. The hand getting stabbed is the meaning of get to work and stop fooling around. The whole background is supposed to be telling stories in different increments or sections to add to the meaning of the whole piece.
